Q: What is web hosting?
A: After a website is created, the files must be put on a computer (called a web server) that's online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We only use the best web hosting servers to ensure minimum downtime. It's rare for our web servers to be down more than a few hours each year!
Q: What's the first step that I need to take?
A: If you haven't done so already, you need to select and register a domain name. Domain names are relatively inexpensive ($8.95 a year at dotster.com) and you should try to select one that's as short as possible and easy to remember. Do NOT register anything but a .com address. In other words, don't register a .net or .org domain name.
